first time i brought my tabby to school this year.
we needed it for Physics today anyway.
sigh. printer not working. wth.
we got a little world of our own...
haha. it is time i change my blog song.

yep. home tweet home.
yesterday after school i rushed straight to the Tanjung Pagar Railway Station, bought the remaining 7.10pm train ticket then rushed back to boarding school to shower and pack.
it's the first time i'm taking the train, and since i arrived at the train station at 7pm, i almost couldn't board the train. it was too full, and eventually i stood right at the carriage entrance. kind of the greatest adventure ever, since i was right at the entrance and if i were to ever let go of the handle i'll fly off the train. what to do, it was too squeezy already.
and eventually i stood for the whole train journey, for about 1 hour plus, excluding the time i had to queue up at the custom. boo.
when i finally reached JB my legs went numb. well, it was a new experience after all. haha.
mummy brought me for macs right away, since i was starving (i didn't eat dinner). this is johor, not penang, so there isn't really anywhere special we can go for late night meals :/
daddy came back home too, then after our usual family gathering and everything i went off to bed. end of day.
today's breakfast was at the usual place at Hutan Bandar, where i always eat the same food: Mee Rebus with Teh Tarik.
how i miss my hometown's food.
frankly speaking, i haven't been coming home since school started, or should i say since Christmas :/
then after breakfast we went to fix my bloody handphone. went to our family doctor after that with grandma, and mummy wanted to make sure i didn't get chicken pox. sigh.
back home it was work work and work. keeping the house, washing the chairs, wash the car, gardening... and i realised i forgot to eat my lunch. in the end i ate like at 5pm?
haha, since i'm taking a break now, i shall just blog.
tomorrow morning we'll be heading off to KL, then on tuesday i'll be flying back to Singapore.

i am truly aware of the number of decades i haven't been updating my blog.
perhaps it's just because of the school and everything, busy here busy there. hahaha.
staying back 4 days a week. i'm not surprised that this would happen in sec 4.
mondays and thursday are usual CCAs, and they are fine.
but tuesdays and wednesdays.... sigh.
chinese writing course on tuesday and amath remedial on wednesdays.
that leaves me with only friday to officially come back and sleep!
:(
oh well, it's the weekends anyway. haha.
on a lighter note,

finally, going home.
frankly speaking,
i realised i haven't been going home since school started.
although my house's a bridge away;
but at least, mummy has came out to meet me on a few occasions :)
yesterday morning was spent with part of Charlie (:
then headed off to Chinatown,
then to the supermarket with Yu Chen and some other people to get goodies for Go Where.
We filled up 2 trolleys, right up to the brim (even exceeding it),
which many people started staring at us giving us the "why-so-young-but-buy-so-many-things" look.
then we cabbed back and filled up the whole boot of the little taxi.
haha, then used the rest of the afternoon to wrap the hampers.
today was the big day! (like finally!)

yours truly is the station master for Station N: You've Got Mail,
and yeah, basically i've spent my whole day at the Sixth Avenue bus stop.
and i am really quite sick of that place, haha.
after we went back i starting tabulating the scores then calculated all the results. sometimes it really got on my nerves when those station masters didn't tabulate the total scores for me.
champion group was group 1, then got the most points since they visited the most number of stations. 1st runner up was group 3, the fastest group as well, and then group 12. well they were all very very energetic and enthusiastic.
haha, no one will read this, but well done to all participants! everyone was a winner today; every group had a prize (:
ok, time to go back to work. i have A Math to complete, sigh.

a busy week finally ended (with a bang).
haven't been sleeping well for the week, some nights i slept for only 2 hours. TOMORROW IS SUNDAY I DON'T CARE I WILL SLEEP TILL NOON AND WAKE UP JUST IN TIME FOR LUNCH.
haha maybe i will even sleep through lunch. ok no no i have lots of things to do, cannot sleep too long.
1 side of me tells me this week went past like a breeze, while the other side thinks this week went past like a snail.
it was shocking to see that a 1st week of school has ended, but at the same time frustrating to see that "sunday is FINALLY here".
of all the rehearsals and lessons and sec 1 orientation, it sure makes the week seem both fast and slow. omg why am i so contradicting.
efforts were definitely paid off for the Campfire performance! Charlie '08 did a super awesome great fantastic wonderful extremely good job! :D can you feel the pride? HAHAHA YAY (:
and i am very very very proud of Alpha '08! :D really, good job and well done to all of you!
and Bravo '08 was fantastic too (:
anyway, the WHOLE contingent did a awesome job! :D

forgot to mention about Dedication Ceremony. well i pinned the school badge for 2 Sec 1s, and yeah i do feel quite old now. SEC 4! omg, we're like the oldest and the stress-est. haha. time flies, it seemed like yesterday when my badge was pinned on by my senior :/
CCA open house today was cool, haha people thought i was a terrorist. but our booth did attract many sec 1s, and of course many are considering joining NC. well done everyone again! :D

HAPPY NEW YEAR! :D
yep, i know, i'm very late. teeheehee.
anyway, this new year's eve was a lot a lot better than the past 2 years, thanks to Vivian and Metta's parents!
they treated us all to a scrumptious dinner at Sushi Tei (:
yep, and we had loads of fun :D
i know they won't be reading this, but i am really really grateful for them. my parents are really thankful too.
when we got back, everyone came together and waited for 11.59pm. then there goes the countdown to the new year!
2009. a new year. new challenges. new obstacles. a new beginning.
and it marked the birthday of our beloved platoonmate Sop too! :D
New Years' Day for me was spent in the Boarding School office, helping poor Ms Tan with the countless boarders and new boarders who are checking in. it may be a busy day, but a fruitful one as well.
my new roommate finally arrived, too (:
new juniors arrived as well, and Mrs Tan treated us to lunch a few days ago.
1st day of school was... weird?
i almost walked to 3G2's assembly area only to realise that the people there didn't look like any of my classmates.
it felt so weird when teachers say "Sec 4s, ...."
OLD OLD OLD. we are so old now. hahaha :D
and there are really many many important dates to remember.
take note: O LEVELS IS FROM 26th OCTOBER TO 19th NOVEMBER
P.S how come our O levels end later than the 2008 one? :/
